Stumbled on Nicaroma by chance and am happy I did. Never had Nicaraguan food before, so I tried the pork Nacatamales. It was a new taste and unusual textures I've not had before, really different and very good. Corn masa filled with tomato and potato and a few good chunks of tender pork. Asked for hot sauce and was offered the onions and vinegar pickled condiment, which was delicious and spicy, highly recommend. I didn't get a beverage but was intrigued by the Jamaican hibiscus juice and I will have to go back to try it. There are lots of coffee drinks, too. Pleasant service and good prices. Thank you, Nicaroma Cafe!

very cute cafe. service was great. I had the traditional Nicaragua breakfast. very delicious and comforting. comes with a side of what I assume is pickled onions that's sour and spicy. goes very well with the breakfast. also had a cappuccino; very good as well. definitely will come back to try the tamale.

TBH THIS PLACE IS A GEM! In today’s time of overhyped and overpriced beverages it’s so hard to find genuinely good place to my surprise this cute place is a treasure in the oakwood area! And the barista is super friendly. Salted caramel latte is must try! definitely coming back again.

Doesn't get any better than this, unless you're looking for a large soulless coffee shop. This cafe is full of charm, love, and a personal family-run touch. The coffee is excellent, whether drip or espresso-based. I was delighted to have enjoyed a freshly made butter croissant. I was able to get some work done while I was here and the service was impeccable. This cafe might not have a collection of ostentatious decor as many other cafes have — this is not a "try-hard" place except where it truly counts: the coffee, food, cleanliness, and service. It has it's own style that pays homage to its Nicaraguan roots. You will not find another cafe like this in Toronto. Come by and fall in love!

Nicaroma Cafe is one of my favourite cafes in the GTA. I’m so glad I found this gem which is located in the best spot ever. There’s street and side parking located nearby as well as accessible by bus, bike or walking. The neighbourhood is lively without being too busy or chaotic. You can see it’s a family friendly neighborhood and so nicely to travel around in the summer. Once you walk in to Nicaroma Cafe, you automatically greeted by the best smelling coffee and food your senses will ever take in. It’s such a beautiful space to enjoy a nice your breakfast where there’s beautiful artwork all around and really great music. There’s a lot of space to enjoy your food there, and I find it’s a great space to get work done while you look out the windows or if you’re meeting up with someone. My favourite thing to order is the coco loco mocha and they have a really good Nicaraguan cake that just melts in your mouth! I can’t wait to try their traditional breakfast and their cold drinks. The food is authentic and you can really tell the food is made with love and care.
